Why not use tampons with a panty liner? (No, using tampons does not take away your virginity).

You should shop and read the back of the packages. Alot of the current brands have actual size pics on the back. If you are small in stature try using a pad thats slim fit or for teens. To tell ya the truth, I started using tampons right off the bat! They don't hurt, yes you will still be a virgin, and you can't feel them! And being summer and all, you can swim in them and not worry about it! Try the slimfits by Playtex.

There are maxi pads that are meant for teens and younger people. If you go to the grocery store you can find them easily. (The bag I used to get was bright pink, but that may have changed by now.) Also you can get the utra-thin always pads (and choose between regular, long, and extra-long(nighttime) so that you don't feel like you are wearing a diaper. If you feel like your period is going to start any moment, it would be better to wear it then not, but run to the store and buy smaller ones.

yeah you should use it. they sell othe kids of pads and different brands that might have a smaller size. it depends on how much you are flowing. if i was you i would just use it to be on the safe side. no one will notice. i promise. when i started mine i thought the same thing. and if you want, ask your mom and see if you can use tampons. the dont hurt and you wont lose you virginity and you wont even know they are in. but if your not ready than just stick with a pad.

You need to have a talk with your mom. Pads come in all sizes, shapes and absorbencies - you'll usually figure it out with trial and error.

Ok, talk to your mom about your concerns, and see if she'll help you find a ultra thin pad that you'd be comfortable with. Good luck.

Size doesnt matter. It is what is on the pad that counts.
