Low battery voltage caused by alternator, Bad distributor or ignition module. We don't have much to work with here! Make, Year & Model would help us technicians zero in on what is happening.

battery, if you blew out a cylinder, spark plugs, worn out cables. i don't know much, i am a girl but i have seen my man work on my car.
oh yeah, it could also be the distributor. that happened to my car and we could not figure it out until a mechanic looked at it.

coil..battery..alternator...points... if your car has them... there are quite a few things ...but each has a different symptom ...its usually process of illimination
