Its a good queston really, with deep implications. To rob a bank to survive? But you also stated 'or should I do it anyway' Short answer is No, obviously not, you'll get arrested pretty easily or worse, and then you're problems will just get bigger and badder.

But for discussion purposes, is it immoral to rob a bank to survive? In very very extreme circumstances I don't think it would be immoral...illegal yes in anycase. There are definately other avenues to explore, get a job, ask friends for help or ask a local church for guidance.

Is it immoral to manage capitalism the way we do?

Is it immoral to limit the freedom of expression, support racism and discrimination?

Is it immoral to condem innocents to death and kill them?

Is it immoral for people to use religion as a tool for controlling, manipulating, alienating, and gaining power?

Is it immoral the things most human do?

The answer is very biased. What is moral to you, may not be to me so no,

Go rob your bank and embrace the consequences. Why dont you become a business man and steal in a legal, more intelligent way?

No - of course it's immoral - stealing always is - maybe the bank should remember this next time they rob me!

It certainly is, because breaking the law, whether it is a man-made law, or one of God's laws, that makes it immoral automatically. Incidentally, stealing is against man and God's law. (See the ten commandments)

There are many thousands of people around the world who are homeless who have managed to keep from doing wrongful deeds such as that. You are surviving, you're just not getting everything you want out of life right now and you feel like your being punished. There's way too many avenues of self-improvement to take in our society to better yourself financially to not have to think those kinds of thoughts.

Do you think that YOUR bank asks this question when they rob you? It is immoral, but it doesn't seem to bother them.

It would be a bit silly though: stripy shirts and tights!

if you owned the bank and someone wanted to rob it to survive, would it be immoral to you?

If you have the means to rob a bank, you're not robbing it "to survive". Sell your gun and buy some food.
Getting a job is a much more efficient way to "survive".

You don't need to rob a bank to survive so it is immoral.
