The good thing about getting married when you are older, would be you have the money!! And you dont need to worry about it, when you are young. Just you can live you life when you are young, but when you are older there is only so much that you can do. So have fun while you are young. But if you are ready for marraige, go for it! If you really love him then you two will make it work!!

well it depends on how much older!!! if you wait to long ,your chances aren't as good as they are when you are younger!! If you run into the Mr. right like some do, then you probaly wouldn't be waiting!! would you? How can you predict this anyway!! or plan it? I don;t think people can just say i'm not going to marry til i'm 40 or ... i think it just happpens, you can fall inlove at any time and know you want to marry someone!! Those who prefer to wait just want to run around still dating, they don't want a relationship or settle down yet, so they say there waiting, and most likely they never settle down or it's too late for them!!! After they have had all their fun!!!!!

Pro: Maturity, financial security, career is set, less reason to stray (having been around the block already)

Con: Dealing with young children in your 40's when you should be travelling, attending pre-school events and being the older one there, not living long enough to go to movies with grandkids, being too old & feeble to play sports with your kids when they're older

Maybe you will decide that marriage is not for you. Being older you should be more mature and know what you are really looking for in a partner. I didn't get married until I was 29. It still was too soon for me.

Just a few.

People are established in their career. More mature. Are ready to settle down. Not just caught up in the "wedding" thing but actually want a marriage & understand the responsibilities. Know what they want in a mate; out of life.

Disadvantage. More set in their ways. Not as willing to change & adapt.
