let me tell you from experience, if you let someone control you, you will end up regretting it and resenting them. either she needs to get used to tha fact that if she gets you, she gets tha dog too, or you need to tell her to bounce. simple and plain. good luck with that

There is nothing wrong with your question. I personally think that it's pretty sad that your girlfriend does not allow you to have your dog with you.. maybe you should re-consider marrying her as it could mean that once you marry her, she will tell you to stop seeing your best friend and she will start ruling your life. Either she should respect and accept that your dog is an important part of your life and maybe you can make a compromise on your part and have a small dog house on the balcony or something like that or you should seriously rethink the whole marriage situation. Remember that if she loves you, she will find a solution for you to be happy and she wouldn't want you to feel hurt by getting rid off your dog. Marriage is about compromise and accepting each other and seeing what is important for both of you.

Would you give up your love life for an animal? C'mon dude. A human is far more important than a dog. But if you really love them equally, start training your pet not to shed and slobber. After all, it's the only way.

I printed this on your different question yet will placed up it good right here too - you're actual..Age isn't something yet a quantity...yet 10 years between, say, 30-40 is manageable in a relationship. no matter if 10 years between 14 and 24 extremely isn't. you may want to be replacing VERY dramatically, both actual and mentally, interior right here couple of years (This adult men at 24 continues to be evolving into the guy he turns into as well), and also you may want to stumble on you've not something in customer-pleasant in any recognize at that ingredient. you may want to imagine of you're mature for a 14 12 months previous, and also you want to be, yet a mature 14 continues to be a ideas too youthful to be wondering about marriage. you as well mght might want to heavily ask your self what might want to a 24 years previous have in customer-pleasant and % with a 14 12 months previous. Am not coming down on you yet extremely carefully evaluate this from ALL angles. good fulfillment.

K. I'm not a dog person, but here's what I think. If your dog is that important to you then you should marry someone that feels the same way. I would not marry someone who had to have a dog. It just won't work. Too many fights!
Good Luck!

well, you need to decide which is more important. the dog or the woman? if you really love her, it won't be a big decision. I realize you are attached to your pet but we're talking about the rest of your life! there might even be a friend that will take the dog so you can continue to see the dog.

No, she's the jerk for asking you to get rid of him. He's a part of you, and if she loves you she needs to accept the dog. Keep the dog.

Your girlfriend needs to respect your buddy and get to know him. He is part of your family. No you are not a jerk, for bringing this up. You are a person who is faithful and loyal to your canine friend. How in the world could anyone in their right mind , make you give up your side kick ? I don't want to cause friction between and your human love, but you need to stand firm and make accomidations for your canine Love. You need to stand up and be heard and let her know that before you get married. Good Luck. Take care and may God bless you and yours , Always!

The dog stays. Train him not to jump on people and be polite. This is a control thing... if she can make you get rid of your dof of 8 years... what else can she make you do. Don't do it- she will lose respect for you.
