I think it may be a tough road, espescially if you have to get sponsored. If you have prior experience in an industry (espescially in marketing or product management), I would recommend focusing on MBA level jobs in that field. And network your butt off.

You'll have a tough time breaking into CPG firms unless there is a posting that requires international/global skills, but tech companies tend to be much more open. Some of my international friends were able to get positions at consulting firms, and you seem like you could be a good candidate for a marketing focused one.

It also kind of depends on what branch of marketing you want to focus on, and what industry you're targeting. Strong knowledge of both is important.
