I would never. A very dear friend of mine has been struggling with her sexuality for quite a while. She finds girls more attractive than guys and has decided that's where her interest is. She has professed her love for me but she knows that I am straight and has never done anything to make me uncomfortable. I will always be there for her and love her as long as she needs me to. Real friends don't abandon each other over something like that.

No I wouldnt but you are going to have to let your friend know where you stand. Meaning if you dont have gay tendencies let your friend know so that line is never crossed. This actually happened to me, I have a really good friend. And we have been friends since middle school, even before she was gay. Anyway I still talk to her the same way but she knows that I dont swing that way. I Love her the same

No that would never affect my friendship with anybody because I would want my friend to be happy. I think that their sexual orientation really would not be any of my business....When people are friends, you want the best for them and if being gay is what makes them happy and it's who they are how could I justify ending a relationship with someone over something like that???
I think that would be discrimination pure and simple...

No.
I have a few gay friends and at one point I figured I may have been gay as well. I don't see anything wrong with it. They're still people. Everyone needs someone right?

Well if you told someone that you can't be friends because there gay then that would show your being a good friend it show you not capable of that kind of friiendship think about it would you want someone to stop being your friend because of that reason

Why would that stop you from being their friend, you would not be a good friend if that is what you are basing anything on, gay or staight, who cares? As long as they don't force their beliefs on you? Live and let live. I have alot of straight, bi and gay friends, I don't care what anyone is as long as they are good people.

No. Friends are friends and it shouldn't matter what their sexual orientation is. I've had several friends over the years that are gay and they were wonderful friends. My step-neice and her gf are gay and even though I don't see them very much it's always a joy to see them and visit. I don't approve of that kind of relationship, but my love for them is unconditional, like Christ's love for us is unconditional.

No! Just because you found out they are gay does not mean that your friend has changed. They were gay when you didn't know they were gay. To lose someone over something so shallow as to toss them out of your life because of their sexual preference only means that you didn't love them unconditonally as your friend to begin with.

no... what does being gay have to do with friendship. it is just like being of a different race, gender or religion...as long as you are really good friends nothing should matter
