It felt like the baby moved down or something but I'm not really sure. Also when I came home I went to pee and when I wiped, I noticed a white discharged mixed with a snot like discharge. What could this be? Did I lose my mucous plug?? Is labor starting soon?? Someone help me out. This is my first pregnancy.

It sounds like you lost your mucous plug, but unfortunately, labor could be hours or weeks away. Be prepared and good luck!

Congratulations! It does sound as if you did actually loose your mucus plug. Some women loose it early, I didn't loose mine until a few hours before delivery, and some loose it a few days before labor.

I remember being very worried before the birth of my son, but just relax. You will know when you go into labor. The contractions just feel different. Take a warm bath, walk, try to sleep! All of these things will help. If you feel like you need to, go ahead and call your doctor, or make an appointment for tomorrow. Hope this helps.

Good luck and best wishes.

You lost your mucus plug and your baby dropped into position for delivery. Stay close to home, have your bag packed and by the door. You can continue walking, as long as you stay close to home or you have a fully charged cell phone to call for help. Walking is good for you, the baby and for labor. It is perfectly safe to go in to labor at anytime now, you are only 4 days away from your due date, so you are technically full-term.

Congrats & good luck!

Walking is how my first labour came on 2 weeks early. And the mucus sounds like your mucus plug is starting to come away. Sometimes it can take awhile for things to procede. You are close but you will know when labour sets in.

don't want toupset you (being nearly due and all!) but that happened to me and it was another 3 weeks before I popped - 2weeks overdue and totally depressed, wassick of peoplesaying 'are you still here!!'.. babies come when they're ready, nothing you do can change that - I tried pineapple (chemical burns to my mouth) hot curry (smelly farts) castor oil (was sick asa dog - still no baby) just try to get through each day and read lots of magazines - you'll get no '''you'' time for a few years!!

My doctor's office has a nurse line I can call to check on symptoms like this. It really puts me at ease to call a nurse who either says, "It's normal" or "let's check it out here in the office". You should find out if your office has this because it can really put your mind at ease with questions you have!
