I like to use "Mr. Kleen". If is for diamonds you soak over night and use a baby toothbrush to loosen the debris. Run under warm water and your stones will sparkle.

toothpaste is something soft to clean ur jewelry.if ur jewelry is not very dirty,then toothpaste is ok,and it is very good to clean ur silver jewelry,vinegar also works,bht it is very strong so be careful of ur jewelry when u clean them with vinegar.
if u don't wan't to make ur jewelry be wet when cleaning,so u can use a piece of deer leather to clean the silver thing.

Well, when my gold and silver starts to tarnish, i use a jewelry cleaner. It makes the jewelery look as good as new! you can get them at your local jewelry store.

ammonia... soak it in that but if it is silver.. not sure.. but use a toothbrush.. will look like you had it cleaned at the jewlery store
