Everybody hates the USA. If we changed our name like companies do, maybe they'll think we've improved.(lol)
We haven't been able to change much else.

Um...no. Do you know WHY other countries hate the USA?
Do you think that if we change our name to the "Land of Fluffy People Who Like To Give Big Hugs" that the rest of the world will light up and peace would spread throughout the world?
Seriously, if other countries dont like the US there is usually a really good reason why they can just BITE IT.

No, changing our name won't help our image. I love this country and know that there is not another place on earth that is as great as this place is. That is why it is such a shock to know that there are people on the outside looking in, that hate us. What ever our failing in foreign policy has been, I don't think can be changed with a new name. In addition, we cannot worry about what the outside world thinks of us, you can't please everyone. We should just do our best to make sure our country continues to provide for our own. Educate our children, feed the less fortunate, provide jobs, and moral high ground/religious freedom.

America is not hated by everyone and hopefully we are not judged by the actions of a few.... No one and I mean no one should even think of changing the name of this great country..... I'm proud to be an American and you should also be proud; if we loose our pride then those who dislike our country, politics or whatever else have won. We are the USA!

Needless to change the name of a nation that has brought democracy to the undemocratic,a nation respected,loved and envied,a nation that has demonstrated how the world should live no matter which race,language and religion, a nation whose reputation is larger than life,-- she is one nation privileged with representation from every country of the world....if she ever needs a name change-- she should be called -
"United States of the World"

I think they'd figure that one out. Changing our foreign policies and our President might help, but it's going to take a long time for the world to stop hating us for the bullies we've become.

If you think you can fool other countries by changing our name then you're acting as if other countries are comprised of stupid people--that might answer your question as to why they hate us. Your question is obviously a joke, but the issue is clearly not funny.
