My palm pilot can view PDF's and I use it for school. So, it would be so much easier if I could convert my files into PDF's and transfer them to my palm. If you know something, please leave me an answer.

I downloaded a free PDF converter from cutePDF.com. I liked it so much that we bought the professional version... but the free version is good for converting files and documents.

You have a couple of different options.

1) Adobe.com has an interactive site that allows you to post documents that they will convert to PDF format. Unfortunately they will only allow this a few times before they charge you $$ for this service.

2) you could also try a trial version of Acro Distiller, also found at Adobe .com

3) If you have a lot of documents that you will be converting, try searching the web for a Adobe PDF print driver. They come standard with a full release of Acrobat, but you may be able to hunt one down somewhere. This will allow you to print you documents to a file creating a PDF output.

Sure, just get a Mac. The Mac operating system's printer support allows you to save a file as a PDF, instead of printing it.
