For topical ointment, I bought some emu oil in a warming lotion base. It is NICE!!

I also take flax, fish, and borage oil gel tablets, fish oil is supposed to be a great inflammatory.

And despite recent research, I still my glucosamine chondroitin. Why fix what ain't broken?

There is alot of natural stuff out there.. need to consult someone that has the knowledge of these natural medications..

I would consult with a local naturopath or homeopath on this. There are many natural remedies but they are not all right for every person. A licensed practioner would be better to advise you.
