I need scoops for my farm and garden activities, and this is how I get them. I cut out the bottom of the bottle, and holding the handle so that the bottle is horizontal, I extend the cut up over the top a bit in a curve. Makes a perfect scoop that is fairly durable...for grain, pet food, potting soil etc.

Recycle!

Potpourri Holder
Supplies: Plain white paper, crayons, glue, two bags of potpourri, scented oil, empty plastic spray bottle, empty Clorox bottle

1. Pour the scented oil into the empty spray bottle, then set aside.

2. Rinse the empty Clorox container thoroughly with running water.

3. Dry the outside of the container with a paper towel for easy handling.

4. Take the tip of the scissors and pierce the bottle at the line near the bottom of the handle to create an opening for cutting.

5. Cut the container to remove the top portion containing the handle.

6. Take a paper towel and dry the inside of the container thoroughly, then set aside.

7. Use the crayons to color plain white paper until no white space can be seen.

8. Cut the paper into shapes and place in a pile.

9. Take a paper shape from the pile, put glue on it, and then decorate the outside of the thoroughly dried container until completey covered.

10. Open the two bags of potpourri and empty them into the decorated container.

11. Spray the potpourri with the scented oil in the plastic spray bottle.

Enjoy the fragrance and your beautifully crafted potpourri holder.
