Has anybody tried internet phone service?

Can you talk at the same time as the other person as if you were using a land line, or can only one person talk at a time like a cell phone?

I've been using Vonage for about a year now. You really can't tell that it's not a regular phone line (except that I find with my connection, the sound is much, much clearer).
