i think it's hilarious that jeremy mayfield drug ray evernhams affair with erin crocker through the mud. and then evernham accusing mayfield of hitting the wall on purpose at the brickyard. very entertaining.

If you are talking about Formula 1:
The season seemed silly at the very beginning, appearing to turn into a Renault rout. (Which I would have loved)
Right now, the title race is getting very close, with 10 points between the two main contenders in the WDC (Fernando has 100 points to MS's 90) and 7 points between Renault and Ferrari in the WCC.
I just hope that what happened to Renault in Hungary doesn't happen again in Turkey. Plus Ferrari hates that track, so Turkey will be the place of the great Renault revival.
Glad for Jenson, though, he deserved to win his first race. He fought hard for it and it was only the second race won after an engine-change penalty.

I think the things that are happening are normal occurances. However, the difference this year and in some past years is that eveyhig is just kind of jumping now. So many mid-season changes is odd, but in the end, the teams don't have the same amount of time to prove success as they used to..so in a way I guess I understand.
Some changes, I'm disappointed in. Some I'm excited about. Some I don't care about. Some I'm interested to see. In the end it's the business of the sport, and I think that everyone has to make the best decision for their business and se what happens. Next year will be interesting, and one thing is for sure..I will need a program to know who is in what ride.

Its been a silly season like you rightly noted. Alonso is moving to McLaren (which is seriously underperforming), Kimi, who was arquably the fastest driver last year hasnt won a race and might be leaving for Renault or Ferrari (and I hope he does cuz he deserves to be a World Champion). JP Montoya announcing he's moving to NASCAR mid-season (did he expect McLaren to retain him after that). Poor Jacques had to leave the sport unceremoniously. The fact that Micheal will just NOT QUIT. Gosh!!!

If you're talking about Formula One - my main inetrest is seeing where Kimi ends up. I'm actually a Ferrari fan but if Kimi gets alongside Michael ( I think there's more chance of my winning the lottery), what a team! Shades of Prost, Lauda and Senna! Now I'm showing my age!

I think the idea that Alonso is going to McLaren is interesting. I wonder how long it will take them to destroy him.
In any event, I don't particularly care what happens anymore, as long as it results in the British media to stop wanking over Jenson Button (130+ races - 1 win) for five minutes.
