The most comprehensive website that I am aware of is The Mises Institute. The "Daily Articles" and "Media" sections are enough to keep anyone busy for a long time.

Check it out:

High school students typically lack both life experience and academic background to understand economics. Economics defies common sense, almost as much as celestial mechanics does. An economic game is just like a space station docking simulation; the more realistic it is, the less enjoyable it is for an untrained player.

I don't. But my public library has lots of good economics books such as "Economics for Dummies" that may be useful to high school students. Also there is a book that reviews AP economics.
