Are we Americans not satisfied unless a Brit is shouting at us or scolding us like childern on TV? Thoughts?

I personally think that Americans automatically assume that one with a clear (not chav) British accent sounds more "intelligent" therefore are more likely to value their opinion.

We are stealing the shows from the British, so since that host was popular over there we just bring them here.

The British are the ones coming up with these stupid reality shows, so they can do anything they want.

A fad. Seems to work. An American is a novelty in Britain, as well.

They aren't experts.. they only THINK they are.. and we allow them to shout and scold because it is entertaining to see them appear so foolish.
