Does anyone have information on the wars, what they were like, how the trenches were built etc? I'm doing an essay for school, where I'm supposed to compare my room to the wargrounds, but I have no knowlege on what war is like.

Please if you have been in a war, let me know.

But if you haven't, and are just loking for ten points please post some useful easy to understand websites, free of too many politics.

I can't shove it now. I've showed the teacher my first draft, and shes told the principal how wonderful it is. I just need some backng for my ideas.Like:

Comparing my unmade bed to the trenches- my cat hiding beneath my duveys to bounce out at any given moment.

THe mission- to find than seek and eventually destroy

How grenades are set off

and comparing the sounds of the lawnmower outside to the sounds of machienery and guns.

Well steph, I do like an easy ten points so here is what I would do. Use Wikipedia.org and search your specific wars/needs. There is some extremely helpful pages on there. Once you look up what you need to know about, such as trenches, then use the links at the bottom of the page to get more info, it is the sources of the page. Depending on what grade you are in, you may want to not only focus on the physical room, but the inter-person dynamics of a classroom, i.e. student interactions, ways of thinking, etc. Good Luck

Compare your bedroom to a warground? I would tell the teacher to shove it, and to come up with something that is educational.
