Has Mike Vick played 16 games in a season over the last few years. He carries the ball, a lot, and as a result gets hit, a lot. Atlanta reserve QB is a pretty important position for them for that reason.
As an answer to your question, I don't think that Vick has much to worry about, but I do think that the team that starts with Vick needs to invest quite heavily in a reserve QB.
But hey, what do I know, I'm English!

Matt Schaub is a good QB but Vick is clearely the starter and doesn't have to worry. Schaub is a insurance policy for the Falcons in case Vick goes down.

Let me say this first of all.....i think anyone who thinks mike vick sucks is an idiot.....he is so athletic and has the agility of barry sanders as a quarterback.....who wouldnt want that.....even madden was saying last year that vick should run more because last year at the end he was staying in the pocket more....i wanna say to all the vick hatters out there that you have to live with it.....for one his style is more exciting to watch and its boring seeing a qb just sit there like a sitting duck.....the only thing wrong with vick is his accuracy which he is improving year by year.....because we all knows he can escape the rush and we also know he has a cannon for a left arm.......you see him throw it 50 yards effortlessly
now to answer your question better i have to say vick has nothing to worry about.......any nfl team needs depth in any position....they need back ups and especially a qb like vick who runs everywhere can get injured real easy....matt schaub is good but vick is there guy.....no matter his style of play he wins games.....and thats the only thing that matters.....also vick along with peyton manning re signed there contracts last year.......both of them had lucrative deals with over 10 year deals with over 100 million dollars........so i dont think that they would invest that much money in a backup do you?....and i think matt schaub will be traded eventually with the way the nfl is played today with all the salary cap things and talent is too expensive to keep...like lamont jordan couldnt always be the back up for curtis martin....people saw that he was good and they had to trade him......so matt schaub atleast wont be the starting qb for the falcons

I don't think he should be worried
Vick is special because he is the best running QB ever
so knowing that hes gonna run everyone gonna try to hurt him and take him out the game
So its a good insurance policy to have a real good QB like Schaub to back him up
The problem is that Schaub might want to be a franchise player so when his contract is up he will most likely leave ATL

No. If you start vick you got to have a back up that can play. When vick gets hurt running around again and Matt throws for 250 and 2 tds four games in a row maybe the falcons got something to think about.

Vick is the organizations best player, they're not willing to trading Schaub because Vick is known to miss action due to injuries. They have no intentions on starting him over Vick, he's just there for security.

Vick can throw only not with accuracy you may want to choose from a QB. each and every man or woman some weeks in the past became on the adult men nuts because he threw 4 landing passes and now he's back to type. Vick ought to stay as QB, he doesnt have the fingers to be reciever, and particularly a RB he only doesnt have what it takes to be an each and every down back. Vick ought to throw round 30 passes a sport, all of them round 8-16 yds down field with some exhibit screen passes thrown in he doesnt have administration of that cannon of his to be throwing more beneficial yards down field than that.

lol vick should be worried if he continues to scramble uncontrolablly in practice. lol just playin. but my cousin has been to the falcons training camp and he says that matt shaub is pretty dangerous. he knocked the wind out of their new WR! he has killer accuracy but i think theyll still start micheal vick cuz shaub wont be able to handle the SEASON pressure. but he'll definately play at least 1 quarter.

Vick has a lot to prove this year. They missed the playoffs last year. They did get to the NFC title game two years ago, but he needs to get it together this year and at least get back to the playoffs.
