I don't shave my legs that often to be honest. I have naturally blonde hair so you can't see the hair on my legs which means that I often can't be bothered dealing with it. Also, I struggle with the cold in winter and genuinly find that hair on my legs keeps me warmer. However, I do shave them when my boyfriend starts complaining that the hair is too long and I have to shave when they start to get itchy. This is usually after about 3 weeks. I have heard though that if you never shave your legs, the hair will fall out by itself when you hits your 40's. Shame I didn't know that when I was 13!!

The problem is, European men don't seem to like body hair on their women! And if you don't shave you get mocked and ridiculed

If you are like me, a dark haired European woman with pale skin you have to shave because the hair grows dark and it shows. I knew girls at school who didn't bother shaving but they were mainly blondes, readheads and light brunettes who only had very light downy hair on their legs which didn't show.

But for darker haired women like me its just not possible to go without shaving as the hair is really dark and obvious.

Yes, in a remote part of northern Greece the women are well known for their hairy legs . There is a Greek phrase that roughly translates as ' The women with an **** of a baboon '. I do hope that this has been helpful .

Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods.
Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful.
Electrolysis and laser hair removal are "permanent" hair removal methods but are expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged.
