Sounds like your rabbit has "snuffles" which is similar to a cold. Also sounds like it has had it for a while. It will turn into a form of pheumonia (sp?) if not treated and the rabbit will die. Take it to a vet and get a vaccine... easy as that. This is a very common illness with rabbits which spreads fast if there are others... the vet may also give you some gel to put in the eyes if the eyes are matted. Your rabbit will look like new within 48 hours once treated.

Your rabbit has pasterella, the best thing to do is to put him down. The vet can treat it with antibiotics but it never goes away it just lies dormat until stress or unsanitary conditions bring it back out. If you have other rabbits you need to seperate them, but from your description it sounds like your rabbit is way to sick for a vet...best to put him to sleep.
Asilman, do not tell someone to give a rabbit pennicillin especially when your telling her the wrong dosage....if she doesnt even know what is wrong with her rabbit how in the heck is she going to get a medicine dosage right. She needs to get terrimycin...although the pen will work. If she is capable of doing that she needs to get some PenG ( you can get it at a farm supply store) and give it 1/10th CC Per pound. But in my opinion the rabbit is too far gone to respond to treatment, it needs to be put down.

You should take it to a vet and let a pro do their job because if i tell you something wrong you might end up killing or injuring the bunny so just take it to a vet and they will tell you what the right hing to do is!

Needs to go to the vet & get checked for an upper-respiratory infection. Expect to spend over $100 by the time they check him out, give em a shot & give you anti-biotics to take home.
