i have windows xp and i luv the sims but cant seem to get them installed to play them! or i dont know where to download the proper drivers if i even need them!

Test your system... In the black box, pick The Sims 2 - or the version in question

It will give links to the places to download the drivers you need. Take note of the results in BLUE and that will help you get the names of the correct stuff you need. If your system doesn't pass the tests then you may need to upgrade a few things. It will tell you which things need to be upgraded.

if you have norton that could be it or its because you system does meet requirements
