How many Americans feel that all of Islam is taught to hate American?

From reading Yahoo answers, one would easily be under the impression that many Americans hate all Muslims, but I cannot believe this to be true.
I know many Arab Muslims living in the States who confirm otherwise.
The citizens of the US may be simply subjected to a media which is biased towards Israel and portrays Muslims and Arabs as "bad".
However, if you browse the net, you will see that many American writers support Muslims and Arabs and fight for their cause trying to shed light on all that is really happening with no bias towards them.
As for Islam teaching "hate" of Americans, that totally not true. Islam does not hatred.
I have seen many incorrect and misleading interpretations of Islam and the Koranic verses on Yahoo answers. I only hope that before people spread rumors about Islam, they authenticate the sites they are getting their information from. You cannot expect to get correct information on Islam from Israeli sponsored sites, so please just get correct and true information if you want the truth.
Spreading hatred and false information will only increase hatred and more chaos.

Only the fanatics that kill innocents to cause fear & disrupt life...Keep in mind, the Catholics hated Protestants and wars have almost always been fought over religion & in the name of one God or another, or because some government would hide behind & use thier military to push thier own views...Rarely has a war been fought for good cause...BTW, we should all remember that the world took a stand against the holocaust and save the jews from enialation at the hand of fanatics, so why shouldn't we all back them now for standing on thier own against a terrorist group, while the rest of our military's are fighting other terrorists?

On the last question, I'll say at least a great majority of
Americans think that all Islam are taught to hate all Americans.

Officially, it is just the ones that commit terrorist acts. I don't know how the average American feels about Islam as a whole.

How can Americans think any other way? There is a whole faction of Islam that teaches hate directed towards the USA. Hate reciprocates hate....

You are, of course, generalizing but some hate all Muslims because of the actions of a few as some of them hate us because of the actions of a few.

The ones that support the terrorist, of course I have not heard many muslim leaders denoucing any of the terrorist.
