well quite a subject to chose.
yes he has been correct over time, but a writer
wrote a book about the worlds biggest ship hitting an icebrg
and sinking 50 years before it happened.
is it fate ? coincidence?, do they see our furure.
remember he also says somthing about yellow skin
controling the earth or mankind !
and he also said the 3 rd world war would be fought in the sand
are they coming to pass ? and the one about the woman
president,will come true soon.
1st of all no president actually makes true discisions
they are told what to do and what to say by a huge
group of councellors and advisers, they are just figure heads.
they even have a team of speach writers cause they
don;t have a clue what they stand for.
so if and when a woman becomes president, guess who;ll
be making all the bad choices for her ?
and if she decides to make her own descisions
then we;ll all be in trouble, simply because a presdent
should never make an undiscussed choice.
for many many reasons.
but hey ! he has been right so far
so lets just don;t count him out.
maybe he is also telling about the end of the world !

Naturally, there are many people who claim right away that Nostradamus predicted the September 11th disasters. In fact, the following "prophecy" circulated within hours of the attack.
In the City of God there will be a great thunder,
Two brothers torn apart by Chaos,
while the fortress endures,
the great leader will succumb,
The third big war will begin when the big city is burning
- Nostradamus 1654
It's interesting to note how stupid some people are - Nostradamus died in 1566. If you are going to make a hoax at least get your facts right! By the way, this actually was created by a student at Brock University in Canada in the 1990s, appearing on an essay on Nostradamus. He was trying to show how anyone could make something that looks like a prophecy.

His predictions are vague.
And his technique is totally inaccurate> He used events from the past to predict what was going to happen in the future (relying on the theory that history repeats it's self). Any resemblance between one of Nostradamus' predictions and a real event is pure coincidence.
Furthermore, it is impossible to accurately predict the future relying on Nostradamus. Usually, only after an event has taken place, believers try to find in his work a "suitable" prophecy.

i too have read the nostradamus predictions, and here is what i came up with:
1) The predictions as you may have noticed arnt very clear. They usually consist of metaphors and it almost never comes out and says "The USA will terrorize the middle east after a terrorist bin laden attacks the twin towers". He speaks in poetic form to make it difficult to understand.
2) Because of this metaphoric and poetic speaking, i have found that you can take just about any of his quatrains and apply it to something. All he did is predict disaster in human history. In my opinion, anyone can predict that disaster will happen eventually. Nostradamus believers constantly point out how quatrains match with PAST events but i have yet to see a prediction about the FUTURE come true.

the thing u have to realize about him is for every one he gets right there were 100's or maybe 1000's he didn't. u have to remember the man wrote tons of books and he wrote them in code so the church wouldn't catch on. there have been many that we have tried to translate them. one was that Callie would have a great earth quake in the late 90's and would be no more. and that Mississippi would flood and drown allot of peeps at the same time and it never happened. the way he works is we have a disaster like the ones u talked about up there Hitler the world trade center. and they all run back to his writings and say ooh so that's what he was talking about. they can't do it before hand so i wouldn't worry about what u saw OR read. because they can't do it before it happens.
hope that makes u feel better

Nostradamus was a womanizing, alcoholic who abused his wife and child. He was a manic depressive who was subject to fits of violence. He didn't bathe and his only association with water was to look into a dish pan of it and see visions. What he saw has been "interpreted" to suit many peoples ideas. I wouldn't put much stock in it.

He was a bad poet and NONE of his predictions have come true..after the fact.
A number were added after an event occur ed, but anyone who tells you he is accurate is lying
Example
"The new city" is NOT New York, it is Naples
If you're going to read fiction, at least read decent fiction

His writings are interpreted by others that can make them into what they want, just like the bible. If you read what he wrote you could not understand the meaning to it, there are no exact or true predictions he made that were not reworded in meaning by others.

I dont believe that notradamus predictions are accurate. You can read anything into anything with the right spin. Just like tarot cards or psychics. If you want to believe, then you will.

it is scary however what's even scarier is that the aztec calander ending and nostradamus prediction of the end of the world is the same which means we don't have much longer to go. So which way is heaven?
