yes it does use more gas because the engine has to create the electricity the AC on my truck uses about 30 Amps and my sterio uses about 10 Amps

The A/C uses a lot more gas. My experience is typically 10%-20% of your fuel costs will end up going towards gasoline. (Meaning at $3/gallon you're probably paying $0.30 to $0.60 on A/C costs). The easiest way to see this is to do some experimenting on your vehicle. Fill up the tank. Reset your trip meter or write down your current vehicle mileage.
Drive with the A/C always on
When you fill up the gas tank next time it will show you how much gas you used (how many gallons it takes to fill your tank) and how many miles you travelled on your trip meter. Divide the miles on your trip meter by the gallons used and this will be your miles per gallon.

Now drive without using your A/C and repeat. You will be able to determine the mile per gallon your car gets without using the A/C.

I know from continueous experimentation on my vehicle I get between 28-32 mpg when I drive without the A/C on. I get 24-26 mpg with the A/C on.

It's really the best way to know exactly how much fuel your A/C compressor uses.

Turing on the music basically makes the alternator work to generate electricity. It's typically generating electricity anyways. As long as the draw of current (the amount you are using) is less than what the alt is supplying it shouldn't take up any more gasoline.

The music being loud will have no bearing on your gas mileage. If you're driving above 35-40 mph, it's more fuel efficient in a modern car to use the a/c. The open windows create extra drag, and reduce your mileage.

AC will use more gas as it takes power from the engine to turn the compressor. That stereo real loud not enough you would notice but yes it would take more gas to recharge the battery.

the air conditioning uses a lot of gasoline.
It has to run a compressor, putting load on the engine.
Elect rial items also put a load on the engine. The alternator that makes the electrical current has to work harder to maintain the demand for power. The radio does not account for much.

A/C puts drag on the engine, so it uses more gas. Loud music depends on what song you have on.
