Sex doesn't always work. Most women can not have an orgasm from penetration alone. It would be better if you brought yourself to an orgasm by masturbation. Orgasms stimulate the uterus which helps induce labor.

You can go to an herb store and buy "Dong Quai". You have to make it into a tea and drink it. Dong Quai helps uterine stimulation, it dialates the cervix, and coordinates to help expel the uterus's contents (the baby).

Walking, swimming, and light aerobics also helps.

At my country club, they have an aerobics class for pregnant women.

Good luck.

Believe it or not...have sex! Very good intense sex. After all when you have the baby you won't be getting any for 6 to 8 weeks so you might as well do the "big bang"! Don't say this girl is vulgar, because the reason why you got knocked up in the first place was SEX! The thing that you have to consider while doing it..is to have a good orgasm! When a woman orgasms her uterus contracts...and this would affect the little baby bug that doesn't seem to want to come out, but you haven't neared the 40 weeks you should be going into labor soon enough. Don't rush it, just take it slow, and maybe a walk, and a little light cleaning around the house will bring on your labor. Those things are good, but the sex idea is better! If you are at odds with your better half...or the one that you used for sperm..feel free to masturbate. It has the same affect, and you probably can bring yourself to orgasm faster than anyone! Take Care!

Hot baths are a no no when pregnant as they can cause the baby to overheat. Remember, the baby doesn't have a way to regulate it's body temperature yet so if you are sitting in hot water it can be very dangerous for the baby. Castor oil will give you horrible stomach cramps and diarrhea, as well as increasing the chance of you baby having a bowel movement while still in the uterus which again is extremely dangerous.

Nothing will make you go into labor if your body isn't ready for it. You can try all the tricks in the book to no avail. The baby will come when the baby is ready.

Just give the baby time to get here. If you tried all these and it didn't work, that means the baby is not ready yet. I was feeling the same way three weeks ago and now my time is up this week. I thought about drinking castor oil also but then I decided I want a healthy baby that is FULLY developed and carried to term. Self-induction may cause problems with you and the baby. Just stick it out for three more weeks and let me know what oyu are having. Congrats! I'm due on the 24th with a boy.

Tylenol works. Braxton hicks doesn't mean the baby is coming today. Usually it's when you get the contractions from the top of your belly, squeezing down. Castrol oil may hurt the baby, I don't know. And drink lots of water!!

Walking yes
No hot baths
No castrol oil just makes you and baby go to the bathroom
Sex

What you should do first is go to the hospital to the labor and delivery and get checked out

At 37 weeks, you probably aren't ready to go into labor even if you are having a lot of Braxton hicks contractions.

None of those things are going to put you over the edge if your body isn't ready.

Castor oil is just going to give you a nasty case of the runs and risk dehydrating you.

I suggest waiting and letting your body go into labor without trying to push it.

first of all is this your first baby.. don't rush it it is too early.. plus you are prob having a ton of braxton hicks cause you are dehydrated.. make sure you are drinking a ton of water.!!! this is so important.. you have no idea!!! it helps replenish your amniotic fluid that the baby is in.If you don't drink enough your baby is sitting in dirty water ( this water is where your baby POOps etc... so make sure you DRINK H2o!!! and then when you do go into labor you will have adequate amount and not hurt yourself during delivery.. it is all about the baby. don't worry baby will be here before you know it. Just have great sex and take long walks!!!( with a water bottle) :) good luck!!

Nothing will put you into labour if your body isn't ready to be, however , CASTOR OIL sometimes helps if you are ready. It does tend to pool in the lungs afterwards, though, so be ready for trouble breathing about 6 hours after taking it. AND DON'T TAKE CASTROL OIL, IT ACN KILL YOU. ITS NOT THESAME THING.

I am almost 40 weeks, so if you find the answer to this one let me know!! I am dying! I heard castor oil might work, but if it doesn't you will just be in the bathroom all day with the $hits!
