If you are preg.it could be to early to tell just wait untill time for your period to see if you miss it,if so give it a few weeks and take another test.If you are those few drinks arent going to hurt your baby.Alot of people drink and other stuff before they find out.I was one,the doctor it ok cause ut is so early on it wont harm the fetus.

The preg test would not show up yet. Chances are your hormones are not high enough to make you have many symptoms. If you are pregnant, dont worry about a few drinks--just do not drink from now until you know if you are pregnant or not. You do not want to drink during your pregnancy, but if in the beginning you do not realize you are pregnant it is highly unlikely that it is going to affect the baby. Think how many people go months with out knowing they are pregnant. I would say a large percentage of women have a few drinks before they realize they are pregnant. I infact did with both of my children. I found out at 6weeks that I was pregnant and did not have a drink from there on out...My boys are extremly healthy and happy. If you stop your life everytime you think you may be pregnant you will drive yourself insane. From now on do not take a test until at LEAST a few days after your missed period. GOOD LUCK!

Just think of how many people go out drinking, have sex with a random guy and end up pregnant. The pregnancy test could be a false negative, but if all you are having is mood swings, it could be PMS. Wait until the end of the week to see if you get your period. If not, take another pregnancy test. Don't fret in the meantime!! :o)

You prob did do the test to early, try taking it again after your are due on, if your period doesnt come. As for having a drink dont worry it will not harm the baby, alot of people go for months not knowing that they are pregnent and carry on living their normal life, for example still drinking and smoking... and the baby is normally fine. Good Luck and i hope you get the result you want, if not keep trying, but not to hard or it will just stress you out too much but if you do get worried remember your doc is always there ro help

I had infertility problems for years and after one cycle I missed my period but, didn't reach the 36 day mark where the Dr. tests you so I did a home test and it came out Negitive. Of course I was very disappointed and went out drinking that night. It turned out I was preg and my son who is now 9 years old has an IQ of 137 so I guess it didn't hurt him.
Just remember is was a mistake and try to realize your trying to have a baby and find different ways to deal with your dissappointment if this happens again. But, you never know you might be Preg so go eat some fruit! :O)
Good luck!

You won't know for sure until your actually late, your body might not have enough hormone yet to get a positive from a home test.
As for the drink, try not to worry, I never knew I was preggers until 8 weeks and had been out a few times and baby was fine.
Obviously I'm not recomending drinking when preggers but sometimes it can't be avoided!

I am in the same boat. I am supposed to start on Thursday. I have been nauseas and moody. I am hoping to be pregnant. I took a test yesterday and it was negative. I had some wine on Saturday. Your baby shouldn't be hurt at this point. Most women do not even know they are pregnant at this time. The way to be sure is to stop drinking until you find out. In order for your baby to be healthy, you would need to be your healthiest you. Good luck! Hopefully, we will both have positive tests on Thursday!

Don't worry. A few drinks at the very beginning of pregnancy isn't recommended, but it is something that so many women have done without problems. I would just recommend that if you are trying to conceive, that you don't drink during this time period until after you give birth, so that you don't run into this situation again.

Chances are, you're fine. HCG shows up later in some women, and it probably is too early to tell. You could try one of those first response tests. Until you're sure one way or the other, I'd avoid drinking just to be safe.

don't panic one night drinking shouldn't cause too much problems.
what test did you use some can be used 5days before and some 4days before period is due. but the further from your period you use it the less accurate it is.
i suggest you wait a few days or until thurs/fri and take the test again.
i know it hard but try not to stress over it too much as that can delay things too.
