That's an interesting question, I would like to know also. Isn't it strange how families have curses and it can be passed down from generation to generation. I hope people know that they can break these curses otherwise it will keep going on to their children.

He wasn't supposedly a bootlegger he WAS a bootlegger. I live right up the street from the beach where it happened, the locals call it "smugglers beach".
Though Joe Kennedy was not a man of good character, I do not believe in curses so I do not believe he was cursed.

He was a bootlegger in the Prohibition era. A curse no-more than all of the Kennedys.

Actually, he was the moving force behind the Kennedys' political aspirations, some going so far to say that he "bought" the elections of his children to political office.
