They're pretty common in Germany and Austria right now, I saw quite a few guys wearing them on a recent trip there. But not so much in the USA, thank you.

They actually were called something else but were popular in both US and European countries in the 50s...mostly for adolescent boys.

i have seen guys with them but i don't think they look good. stick with pants or shorts
