I'm in Grade 9 and I have a very good ego as do many of my friends. A lot of teens feel the need to prove everything so when they do something that's why their so arrogent about it.

Because they're junior high kids. You'll find they have the worst attitudes as well.

No - that's not right at all. I am 14 and i believe I'm inferior to most people. Is that Egotistical? I think not. Don't Stereotype kids - You'll only ever get proved wrong and embarrassed

It's a phase some of them go through that gets worse in high school and hopefully dies down once they get a reality check in adulthood.

cause they are young and dumb and still dont have ah clue to what is really going on in life and the think they are the center of the world

they are trying to fit into the school life and be the "cool" guy or girl..if they are seen as unpopular, they are not cool, they are picked on, beaten on,etc..its a tough world out there

They have not learned to control their hormones or emotions. Many men suffer this problem for most of their lives.
