If China keeps giving all their little girls away who are the little boys going to marry when they grow up? This is not a mean question. I know someone who has adopted 3 beautilful little girls from China. I'm just curious who the boys are going to marry when they grow up.

I know little boys are adpted too. I know they have an over population problem an yes I know they have more than three little girs. But girls are not valued, they go to orphanges and wait for a family to love them. And this is nothing mean against the Chinse culture and I am not sterotyping.

What is strange is that China isn't asking or answering this question.
The number of girls given away doesn't account for the disproportionate number of boys. It appears that girls are being aborted or killed after birth.
One reason not to be concerned is that for now Chinese men can marry younger women to correct the population difference. At some point the age difference will be too great and there will be too few adult women.

You miss the exact point....China is trying to curb its population thus doing away with women is the easiest way. Little boys will grow up and go unmarried, or marry each other or marry older women. The point is there will be less women to continue the population with more babies....that is what China seeks.

This is already a problem, because this has been going on for a long time in China. Men are already having a hard time finding women to marry. They are having to pay increasing dowries, etc. They did a story on this not too long ago on NPR.
This is a serious problem, because if you have a bunch of unmarried men with nothing to do, they are going to start causing problems. This will probably result in instability in China. Higher crime, riots, etc.

China is overpopulated, so it's government only allows couples to have 1 child. It's very sad if you ask me.
If you have another child, the government will not give it any rights. No health care for when it gets sick either. Some couples try to get their child to live as long as possible without these rights, but it's hard. Some put them in orphanages. Some even abandon them to die!
In the case of twins and such, sometimes both children are given rights (mostly if both are male). Other times, one of the two children is sent to an orphanage. Most often it's the female.

i am chinese(taiwanese to be EXACT) and they dont want the girls because you can only have one child and in china girls who marry will not benefit the girls' parents while if they had a son then he could benefit the parents(money, grandchildren). soooo SOME boys HAVE to marry the girls in china while the other seek out brides in other mandarin speaking areas

Just more angry men to put in the military, China has a plan, and normal relationships and marriage are not in that plan. Some areas of this country teach their gradeschoolers how to fight and use weapons, while ours talk about britney and american idol, their priorities are much different than ours.

Mail order brides from the US and other countries...(Go figure?)
Side Note: Perhaps cloning will be acceptable in China one day, those asian countries seem to be so technologically advance anyway.

Beacuse of the one child policy and they need a male child to carry on the family name. It's an interesting history. Do some research.
