I also have that as my daughter's middle name. Because she was conceived in May. And I wanted a different spelling.
Not going to tell you her first name, sorry. Would like to keep the fact that she's the only one to turn around, when I call it.

Maeve - Gender: Feminine
Usage: Irish, Irish Mythology
Pronounced: MAYV
From the Gaelic name Méabh meaning "intoxicating". In Irish legend this was the name of a warrior queen of Connacht who organized the death of the hero Cuchulainn.
How about Deirdre as an accompaniment.A legendary princess of Ulster who eloped with her lover, Naoise, to escape marriage to King Conchobar. After the king murdered Naoise, she killed herself. (Also known in Ireland as Deidre of the Sorrows)...
(Just a quickie on Cuchulainn - this is a great character in Irish mythology - well worth a Google. Whilst minding a neighbours house, he killed the guard-dog, so ended up doing the guard-dogs duties himself. He changed his name to Cuchulainn - Cullens Hound......................)
