I need 2 know what kind of dancing judges normally like for a big performance. I can do any type of dancing. You name it.

I like the English waltz. It never changes and adds grace to an occasion.

I personally think that sexy dances like the Salsa, and Flamenco dancing and tangos would be judge more favorably than others. These dances fire up crowds that watch and judges do notice when a dancer has an impact on the audience.

i say try something unique, ever watch any movies, dirty dancing, etc. the reason they are so great is that they are always testing the boundries, try to mix what you know and create a dance specific to you. the judges will not miss you determination and creativity. Remember practice, practice, practice. (in my personal opinion i always like urban and ballet, it is the two extremes together, but it seems to be a "used" idea, so maybe urban and something else, maybe ballroom, i dont know if that will work (smoothly, at least), but if it did, it would definitely get the attention of the judges. i love all sorts of dance because it really is an expression of our inner selves which could have many colours or perhaps extremes. Out of the above, i'd choose salsa, ballroom, human beings and bhangra. it may replace with my mood. My different favorites are ballet, kathak, bharathnatyam and many sorts of Indian dance. i imagine kuchipudi is one among them, i'm not particular. Its an expression of thoughts so each type is really proper.

i like all types of dancing and especially the SALSA or we can say the Latin dance in all the types by the way i started taking special salsa courses me and my girlfriend just to be professional on it LOL
i think the Latin dance is the best Salsa or Chacha or samba
