There are multiple answers for this question.
For instance, based on the perimeter of the rectangle, the sides can be 40, 40, 2, 2. The area for this would be 80. The smallest area would be 41 if the sides are 41, 41, 1, 1. So, as you can see, there are multiple answers for this question. It all depends on the exact dimensions of the rectangle.

a rectangle has 4 sides, and the perimeter is all sides added together..
to get each side do 84/4 = 21
so the rectangle as equals sides of 21
21+21+21+21=84
since the sides are all equal and the equation to find the area of a rectangle is l x w
it would be 21 x 21
which is 441

Area is the number of square units inside a figure. To find the area of a rectangle, you can use this formula.
(A = area, l = length, w = width)
A = l x w
A = 12 in. x 7 in.
A = 84 in.2
The area of the rectangle is 84 in.2

It really depends.. the perimiter doesn't help much by itself, unless there are clues to how to figure the Length and Width. Until we can figure the L and W out, we can't really answer the question.

I don't know but I am just guessing.
p=84
l=25
w=12
25*12=300
a=300
