It seems to be coming from condensation from the engine but we can't find where it is coming from and therefore how to fix it. Anyone else ever have this happen? Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like either heater core leak or A/C condensation.
In either case. the heater-A/C assembly under the dash must be removed.
When you touch the wet spot, does it feel a bit oily? Does it taste a bit sweet? If so, you have a heater core leaking, and it will need to be replaced.
If it is just merely wet, your A/C condensate drain is obstructed with debris or mold. It will need to be cleaned out for proper drainage.
This is not a fun job.
If you have mechanical ability, you can go to the parts store or Barnes & Noble or (?) and purchase a repair manual for that specific vehicle for < $20.00 and gather all the information necessary.
Or you can go to your library's REFERENCE section and find it there for free.

Since it summer time I would guess its from your ac system. The evaporator is inside the car and builds up moister as it goes from hot to cold. The car has a drain system that is supposed to let the watter out. They some times become clogged and the water goes in the car. If it was the heater core you would notice a coolant loss so do check that also. Get it fixed soon as water leads to mold if left to long.

Heater core.
Its like a small radiator for heating your truck.
it could be leaking. or one of the connections in that system.
Fix it right away. hot water on a passengers feet can be bad.
Also a over heated engine.

If the fluid is antifreeze, it could be the heater core. If it's water, it could be a number of things - check with a mechanic.
