60/5*140=1680 meters per minute

1680/60=28 meters per second

1680*60=100800 meters per hour

100800/1000=100.8 km/h

That's pretty simple, did you fall asleep in math class? There are many ways to calculate this, that was just one - but the basic formula is:
V=D/t
velocity = distance/time

That's easy to remember becuase we usually refer to a speed as a distance per time, such as km per second or miles per hour. Another way to say km per hour is km over hours, so there's your solution to remembering how to calculate a speed.

For the math, the key is to bring the 5 seconds into a useable number - either seconds or minutes or hours. So 5 seconds is 5/60 minutes, or 5/60/60 hours. If you want to work with seconds, then divide both sides of the equation by 5 to end up with the distance per second. That simplifies your problem.

Impossible!

How would one divide 140 meters by 5 seconds to get 28 meters per second (indicating a measure of speed)?

Not sure it can be done, so do not try.
