That all these new emo and punk bands are amnazing? Thats not music! Its awful, the sound especially!

Fall Out Boy
My Chemical Romance
Panic! At The Disco9just to name a few)

I'am 15 and i'am not dumb enough to believe its good. Most teenagers think this stuff is amazing because it has just come out and its different from all the rap and pop

This is not real music, real music has a meaning and sounds good, which none of bands have any of those aspects. How about classics. Don't get me wrong there are a lot of recent bands that are really good. Like in the past 10 yrs, recently there hasn'y

There is NOTHING wrong with Punk/Emo music. There is something wrong with you people who dont like it though. Some emo is kind of annoying, but punk is great music and punk bands ARE are amazing. Fall Out Boy, My Chemical Romance, Panic! At The Disco, Green Day, all those people are the greatest bands on Earth. You people just dont appriciate G O O D music.

I agree 100%. The stuff is horrible and the people that listen to that stuff wear all those ugly clothes and ugly mohawks. Its disgusting to even look at them. The lyrics in the songs are horrible and pointless and the music is just noize. The reason so many poeple today dont like rock music these days is because of the punk rock and emo bands... they havent heard of real rock, just this crap which makes their opinions negative. All these punk rock bands make real rock look bad. (When saying real rock, I mean: Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, ac/dc, black sabbath, queen, etc... Classic rock is the best)

Certain songs are ok but as a whole, I don't care for these groups too much. Emo is gaining popularity because the world is depressed. Good reason to be too....look at all the world's problems...

They said the same thing about rock and roll in the early 60s, heavy metal in the 1970s, rap in the 1980s. Generational gap, if you must but when another genre or sub-genre arises, the same objections will still be raised.

I agree! I don't even listen to the radio anymore. Most of the music no matter what genre it is in, is manufactured. Sigh, I miss real music.

The Ramones..Sex Pistols,The Clash, The Stranglers,Buzzcocks,The Dammed,Ultravox,The Jam,DOA,Dead Kennedys,Souxie & the Banhees if you don't know these bands you don't know punk. Any a$shole can play three chord noise.

Fall Out Boy has one decent song. I'm not a big fan of My Chemical Romance, but I like Panic! At The Disco's style. Maybe I've been suckered into thinking it's something different when it isn't, but all the same, I like the stuff I've heard.
