Mardi Gras 2006 was a modest success--albeit was scaled back a tad. The best thing bout 2006 Mardi Gras was there was little if any crime (mostly the NOLA scumbag society element got washed West, out of state).
You can expect Mardi Gras 2007 to go as planned, hopefully with MORE parades, MORE people......and MORE police to get a better handle on crime. So plan to come down and have a good time. Lazzez Lez Bon Temps Roulier ( let the good times roll!).

Yes we will have Mardi Gras. We had it last year, but not as many people showed up. I got to see Micheal Keaton (the best batman ever) and that dude who plays Drew Barrymore's brother on 50 first dates. It was fun and awesome. It will be even better this year.

Yes we had Mardi Gras in February. It was aweome. I have boxes of beads that I caught.Michael Keaton was King of Baccus this year. Steven Segal was king of Endymion.
