Sen. Hagel R. Neb thinks the republicans have forsaken financial responsibility in favor of big govt. and deficits. I agree with him and think they should go back to their conservative economic ideology. What do you Bush supporters think?

Scripps Howard columnist Ann McFeatters writes: "To Bush, being
president means never having to say he's sorry. To tell him he might be wrong or bring him bad news or cause dissonance in his serene world is to antagonize him and be thought disloyal.
"It's now well acknowledged that Bush is happy in his bubble of self- imposed isolation. He meets with foreigners but without true give-and- take even in crisis conversations. Foreigners visit the White House as they used to go on bended knee to ancient Rome. Bush travels but sees few real people. All is scripted. He talks with advisers but rarely interacts with members of Congress, even senior Republicans.
"He seems to care nothing about winning hearts and minds in other countries. Foreign leaders say he lectures but does not listen. He does not have the long telephone conversations late at night that former President Clinton loved to keep him in touch with what others were thinking. He seems indifferent experts ....
The GOP is without leadership.

Bush supporters don't think, they follow blindly what they are told.
The GOP strategy of keeping them afraid and suspicious works on undereducated people who have never been more than a few hours from home. Anything new and different is something to fear.
They do not realize that the huge corporations that back Bush and his kind are working to destroy the middle class so that there will be only the extremely rich and the poor who make them that way.

John Stossel did a report for ABC's 20/20 called John Stossel Goes To Washington. One of the things he looked into was if Republicans really hate big government, and guess what he found out? REPUBLICANS HAVE ACTUALLY INCREASED OUR GOVERNMENT MORE THEN ANYBODY!!!
Republicans will lie and say their against big government, but according to Stossel that's just a con they use to grab votes. Republicans could care less.

I'm not a Bush supporter. It's obvious to me that the GOP has been bought out by lobbyists. Their not interested in their conservative principles they just want more gifts from Abrahamoff. They are corrupt.

Definitely. Until someone with at least a 'C' in their high school economics class is able to manage our spending, I'll be taking a serious look at voting for a third party (i.e. Libertarian).

I don't support "parties' so to speak. I support causes. All I can say is check back every four years and a disturbing trend is very much in place, despite affiliation.

Not a Dumbya supporter. The Repukes never had it. But the scumbags have been getting "their way" with anyone who is in the middle or working class, and of course the poor.
