It sure sounds like a urinary tract infection.
If she is not allergic to sulfa medications, she can cure this quickly with Bactrim (it's an antibiotic that requires a prescription). There is also a drug called Pyridium that alleviates the burning (and turns urine bright orange!) while she's waiting for the Bactrim to do its thing.
Also, drink plenty of water to flush urine through the system.
Nothing to worry about, but it should be treated to prevent the infection from going to the kidneys.
Good luck.

Definitly sounds like a urinary tract infection. Even though she might not have the 'burning'. She needs anti biotics.

Take pure cranberry juice and that should help. Also lots of water. It could be from sex. Make sure both of you urinate after sex to clean things out. Try the cranberry thing and if it gets worse, see a doctor.

Hey there,
First she should go c a doctor about it.
In the mean while there are some natural meds that can help. Sounds like she might have yeast infaction.
If she does that mean it burns when she pees so she should apply some yogurt on the infaction to reduce the pain.
there are some more natural meds that might help on the website i added it will help reduce the pain and dont forget to go c a doctor about it.

sounds like a UTI, and yes, it can be from sex.
some women get them often, and her doc can help explain the details better & w/o taking up too much space here... but have her go in tomorrow, or perhaps even to urgent care today.
