And yes I mean anal and not for those primarily in prison.
I have met several guys who were nonchalant and not particularly feeling any way beneficial towards victims. They are too worried about giving rape babies up for adoption and the like.

rape is about control, not sex.

No, because MOST guys are against Rape in the first place. 90% or so of rapists are doing it for CONTROL, there aren't many cases where it is actually about the sex. Just because you talk to guys who aren't very mature, or depends on the cases and such details, doesn't mean the is normal. Now my question is what are you talking about exactly? Is it just RAPE as a general thing, or since you mention victims, is it specific cases? See if you tell me about a case like Kobe Bryant, I believe him that is was consenual and she started the whole it was rape to get money. Just as I don't believe that Mike Tyson raped that woman, and I don't care if he was convicted, because the details are more on his side. He was a violent type of person, with a reputation, and she went to his hotel room with him at like 2 AM, having just met him, when she was Miss America. Hmmm which side is more likely to be believed a Miss America or a Boxer with violent tendancies. Now if you talk about cases where it was rape and there is no question then I will feel bad for the victim. In some cases, such as the two I mentioned, I feel bad for the one who I feel was the REAL victim as I don't think a rape really took place. I believe it was either consenual or there wasn't sex. The problem still is though that too many women have ruined the good name of other women. It seems as if too many that DO come forward to press charges are teh ones doing it to get back at the guy or such. That they know they will win the he said/she said arguement.

I think that you have the wrong idea. Men are just as horrified by sexual crimes as women. Probably just as much, since they fear that it will tear apart their families when their children, daughters or wives face this type of crime. That is why the penalties are so high.

Guys that are nonchalant about this issue are probably immature and not exactly solid citizens. Maybe that is a good screening to eliminate them from your thoughts of a long term relationship with them.

Ya know... not many really care that much about what goes on behind bars. That is just another part of the horrors of the penal system. We put Bubba in there, just to meet up with sexual offenders.

Sexual and heinous criminals get a chance to meet their maker. Just ask Jeffrey Dahmer.

Guys aren't all for rape. Rapist have a mental problem, they think raping a women is exciting, and that when the women who are scared and screaming yelling for help, and begging to stop, turns them on, and make them feel more excited.

and you hardly hear a case where a woman raping a man, because man are a lot stronger than women and man don't yell and scream like women do. There was one case I've heard a few years ago, that there was one woman who raped a man, and the man sue the woman who raped him, the judge didn't believe him and dismiss the case.

Rape is wrong, regardless of who it happens to. A woman who chooses to keep a baby from this situation is, in my humble opinion, a fine human being whom I would respect in the highest order.
It is most unfortunate that some people are victimized. The way this world has become-we all need to as careful as possible. It is not fair-but the more vulnerable seem to be targets of choice.
I am sorry you had to suffer.

I agree with Mel.
Rape is a control and power issue.
It has nothing to do with pleasure or sexual release.

In my opinion, there are a lot of males who are raped by other men and never report it.
Men are viewed as the stronger sex, so the likelihood of a man to admit that another man actually raped him is slim to none. No man wants to be stripped of their ego and masculinity and to be viewed as a victim.

Women, on the other hand are typically more vunerable and don't report rape out of shame or guilt or fear.

I don't know about other guys but I had both a girlfriend and 2 friends that were both raped, and by guys they considered friends and/or an ex. I think rape is disgusting and cowardly. Not just because of my friends' personal experience with it, I have always thought so. But short answer yes.

I think the punishment for rape should be much much stronger. Guys don't seem to care. I can't believe how many participate in gang rape. It's regular guys you'd never suspect.

So, you think that most men aren't really "against" rape?!?! I am not sure what kind of men you hang out with, but all of the real men that I know are as appalled and disgusted by rape as women. Don't be so sexist in your view of men. Most men are not like the ones you seem to know.
