I get told a lot that I look like a ballerina or dancer (I always wanted to be one but I never took lessons much & I am too old now ! :)
I'm 5'2" so my waist is pretty small.
Any ballerinas or dancers in training out there, how big is your waist? Just curious. Also do you have trouble finding clothes (not ballet clothes just regular pants & things because I know I do)

I'm sure you look fine. Ignore the old guy at the gym. I didn't measure my waiste in ages - no need :-)
I dance ballroom (competitive) and I don't need to look exceedingly thin.
Sorry, no concrete answer to your question.
As far as for clothes - all my jeans sit on my hips... no trouble there. I have trouble finding the clothes that I like at the stores, too. I'm inclined to think it's because I'm very common size, and it's all taken before I get to it. Smiles! Keep looking great and enjoy it!
