Fish food made for Oscars. Don't use live feeder fish...that is the quickest way to spread disease and parasites to your Oscar.

I hope you plan on upgrading your tank soon. Oscars get large and get large fast. You probably need at least a 75 gallon for a single adult oscar.

Sinking pellets are good to feed oscars. Stay AWAY from feeder fish unless you raise them yourself. The can be diseased and your oscar will get sick. Also keep your nitrAtes way down or you could face Hole in the Head disease. Oscars are very susceptible to it.

An Emmy!! LOL Seriously, they sell Oscar pellets in your pet shop, go there, they usually have a wide variety of pet supplies, I used to have 2 Oscars, but that was years ago and I raised them from 1 inch long, they grew to be about 8 inches. I had them in a 50 gallon tank.

Depends on what you want those osacars to become. mean and aggressive feeder fish, crickets and other live critters. Docile or semi aggressive pellets and flake food. however when oscars feed they are messy eaters the flake food tends to go through there mouths and pass out the gills creating a mess. Pellets, especially those manufactured for oscars are best.

Oscars hoover another type of fish, so that you've gotten to get yet another oscar for him/her. i recognize, i went by ability of that many years in the past, i had 2 of them and they ended up getting particularly huge, particularly quick. you'll ultimately choose a larger tank, yet try to be solid for a 12 months or so, and verify craigs record for bargains once you're waiting to flow up in length. they have loopy bargains on fishtanks a large number of the time.

You can give them flakes but they also need other things like live fish. Feeder guppies, feeder goldfish when he's bigger.
