Good work on quitting smoking this week, Hang in there!! It's really really hard at first but you can do it. The health and the stamina you gain back is worth it, not to mention all the money you'll have to spare now that it's not going to Phillip Morris!

I can't say that you'll gain back every bit of strength, but you will definately benefit. Your lungs will be able to take in more air and you will have more energy without all the pollutants in your blood. In high school I remember a kid who smoked and he could barely keep up with the class running during gym. I think he quit and he did a lot better after that.

Please don't start smoking again! You can do it! You will live longer, be more happy with yourself. When it gets tough, remind yourself of all you're gaining for yourself. Be selfish! This is a much better trade off, you win in the end!

Sorry but you did not formulate your question very well.

Bottom line stop smoking

Your lungs will be near normal in about a year from what I was able to sort out in your mixed up question

The more damage you do, the less likely you will be to recover from it.
