Almost any type of window cleaner has worked for me. I've used Windex on my carpet and it looks like new. You can't even tell there was a stain there. >.<

Try some soda water! You know, that carbonated water, with a little baking soda. It is natural, gets the stain out deep down, and wont harm your carpet.
Plus it leave a nice smell (cause mustard stinks when old!)

Try to find a product made especially for cleaning "tough to clean" stains. If you can't do that, try these other options:
1) white wine or rubbing alcohol & scrubbing with a wet sponge
2) lemon juice & scrubbing with a wet sponge
If you still can't get the stain out, try to get a company like Stanley Steamer to come to your house and remove the stain. Good luck!

Sorry mustard causes color damage. You can have a installer resection the area with a piece from the closet.

Look at some spot removers and choose one that has enzymes in it. That will remove most organic stains (ketchup, blood, mustard, wine, pet messes).
Good luck!
