What ages for jobs in AZ and or US?

Question

What jobs can a 15 year old boy get? in Phoenix Area Az, avg pay? if none, does it all start at 16? and since somone can drive at just about 16 yeas old, how do they do that if they cant get a job ontil then as well. Where does there money come from?

Many fast food resturants hire people at age 15-- I know McDonald's does and I think arby's also. It's not the best job to have but if it's a first job than it's not that bad.. and it's money.

I believe the age is 16 and more than likely it will be minimum wage. This is a dillema most 16 year olds come across which leaves most of the burden on the parents. Usually the young person works while the parents take them there and back to save up the money for the car and the insurance which in AZ is extremely expensive for a boy of 16. Hopefully he took driver's ed and has a B or better average so he can get the good student discount.

You can work at age 15 1/2 in Az but only 4 hours a night on weeknights and full time on weekends. Fast Food seems to be the norm for this age or the mall. Sounds like you'll have to rely on mom and dad for a ride or make friends with people that you work with and carpool. Metro busses aren't the way to get around right now but normally that's ok too.

the legal age to start working is 16, but some places will hire 15 year olds. from what i have experienced, grocery stores and fast food resturants are your best bet. the only bad thing is that you won't be able to work many hours until you actually turn 16

Might try a paper route, mowing lawns if they have them in Phoenix, yard work, doing errands for elderly.
The word is until not ontil and the word is their not there.
