well i do believe in jesus, but should we really pray to him (through him) for everything? or directly to god himself?
the 10 commandments say:thou shalt have no other gods before me!!
god is jealous.
is praying to jesus..in jesus:s name putting another being above god the father/creator?
ive always been taught we must go through jesus.
but iam talking directly to god....more and more. and he talks back to me...not verbally but by things that happen etc. understand??

hi sweety, listen you are definitly in the right track. you are on the bus already. all you have to do is believe with your heart all you have came from him. you said you are a parent, if your child asked for water per say would you not give it the them. he's the same way with you. bad things happen because of the devil himself. he's here in this world. it's his we understand that. our place is in heaven, all we got to do is believe in the lord. he sent his son (words) to you telling you how to believe and pray, not just saying it. remember when you were a child and your father or mother said i will bring you something for your birthday, that belief that feeling is what he asks of you now, he said all you have to do is ask, read matthew 7 verse 7-27. and most important of all when you ask please ask in the name of christ and it shall be. be patient with him as you want your children to be with you. you know when the time is right..

praying to Jesus and God is the same thing. Jesus is God in human form, and as a human he died on the cross for our sins. Because of this God the Father in heaven wants us to pray through the name of Jesus his son. he earned it. Anyways they are family and won't mind if you say God or Jesus, your prayers end up in the same mailbox in heaven. keep the faith. (:

the bible says Jesus is God ,the reason He didnt use this name in the old testament because, a-christ means "the anointed one", b-to basically fool satan from interfearing Him to go to the cross. The word says that if satan would have known He was dying for our sins then he would have stopped it.
