I took my first injection of Depo vera Shot in Middle of June. All of July and August (To date so far)I had unprotected sex. Next dosage is in Septmeber. I did not get period in August. Took HPG and came back negative. Have crazy syptoms like I am pregnant, but could also be symptoms of the shot. I have all the symptoms besides sore nipples. What could be going on with me? Any advice?

lol I was on the shot for a year. I didnt have a period after the first shot and from there on after. I got off of it cause it cause me to gain alot of weight and have terrible mood swings. Plus it was stated that it causes bone density loss. Check with your doctor but my opinion is its the shot. Good luck

I used it for three years and i will under no circumstances use it once more. Oh, it was once high-quality when I needed it, however after I received married and was once trying to conceive, the results took over a yr to put on off. Additionally, whilst you might be on it the vaginal dryness is unreal. From all that progesterone. Yes, my interval did discontinue the whole time I used to be on the shot, which was once nice. No ache. The one way i'd remember using it again is if I was once without doubt distinctive I was done having children. In case you are young, i would go with something else just like the pill since when you discontinue it, it is out of your approach. EDIT: studying the reply above me about the bone loss: that is very genuine. I broke my foot a yr or so in the past, doing truly nothing. Doctors suppose being on depo could have made my bones weak. No longer sure about that, however an intriguing thought.

it somewhat is a hormonal imbalance from discontinuing the shot and your physique gets returned to standard finally. Or, because of the fact you probably did have unprotected intercourse after struggling with the shot there is an danger you're experiencing being pregnant indicators and you will possibly desire to take a being pregnant try.

The Depo shot does that.I've been on it for years. It makes your body think that you are pregnant even though you are not-you probably go to the bathroom alot more.right?
