no, he isn't a real doctor. if he went to med school and then did the proper residencies, then he can get the same respect as a doctor. why do you think chiropractors aren't allowed to prescribe medicine.

No, but there is another Doctor who combines the knowledge of both, that is a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine or DO instead of MD.

they are both helping you in a way aren't they? So, yes. Any hard-working man deserves as much respect as the other.
If a hard working construction worker works as hard as a Doctor, they should be given equal amounts of respect.
No matter wat profession or amount of knowledge one has, if they work as hard as eachother in any profession, no matter how different, they should be given respect.
