Um, it's kind of weird that you used the standard system for your height and then used the metric system for your weight...78 kg is about 172 pounds.

So, at 5'9" and 172 pounds, your BMI is 25.4, which means you are just barely overweight. You should make it your goal to lose anywhere between 20-45 pounds to be in the healthy/normal weight.

Eat healthy! Keep active, even if it's little things (like taking stairs instead of an elevator, park at the far end of the parking lot so you have to walk farther, etc). Lose weight to be healthier, not for some one else!

You need to change your lifestyle not diet. Eat plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables, but don't have any fried {except for the odd treat}
Cut down all fatty and sugary foods,alcohol and reduce the carbohydrates like potatoes and bananas etc. Drink plenty of water or low calorie drinks and juices. eat lean meat, chicken, fish. Boil or steam or bake your foods. Most importantly exercise, build up gradually. To lose weight you need to eat less calories and increase your heartrate and metabolism. If you have any doubts about your health see your doctor first for advice.

Any person who wants you just for how much you weigh aint worth knowing.

If you must lose weight, lose it for you. Eat less and exercise more.

No enjoy yourself for who you are! You are a tall girl and i am sure very pretty, loose the negativity and start to appreciate who you are and that will shine through in your personality.... Dont stress about the boyfriend thing that will come later!!!

IF you must lose weight, which you probably dont need to..... eat museli for breakfast with skimmed milk... and beans n toast* for lunch then dinner.... make the meals different adding hp sauce etc....

*heinz do some low salt/sugar baked beans........

well there are charts online telling u the average wait! or ask ur doctor and they are like 101 diets out thier u should be able to find ur own! and it dosent hurt to lose a few pounds! ;)

You could try to get taller instead of thinner by strapping weights to your ankles and hanging from the door frame. It worked for me
